Artist Statement

My work is a direct extension of my being - how I process, interpret, and choose to express. Time in the studio provides an opportunity to work with materials that resonate - creating something original, personal and unique.

I love to reshape small “pieces of place” into new work. These objects are mementos of my past, reconstructed and reworked, to produce new artwork holding memory and hope.

Working from a conceptual place, I use textiles, mixed media and found objects to articulate thoughts on remembrance, relationships and the passage of time.
